Animal Shelter Assistant « Click for Job Flyer

Dynamic team player needed to join our Animal Services Division.  Incumbent will be responsible for the clean and sanitary condition of the animal shelter; monitor the physical condition and necessary care and feeding of all animals being held at the shelter; perform as a key member of the team responsible for placement of animals; perform a wide variety of clerical duties and social media outreach.

Education and Experience:  Equivalent to graduation from high school and demonstrated experience in the handling/care of domestic animals.  Must also have at least six months of clerical experience including the use of MSOffice programs (Word, Excel, Outlook).  Must be able to obtain a Euthanasia Certificate within the probationary period.

Work Schedule:  Tuesday through Saturday 7:30a - 4:30p (subject to change based on business need)

Salary:  $13.94 - $16.97 per hour

Associate or Senior Engineer « Click for Job Flyer

Calaveras County is seeking a professional level civil engineer at either the Associate Engineer or Senior Engineer.   The position will be filled according to the top candidates qualifications.  Incumbent will  perform a variety of  field and office civil and transportation engineering work related to the planning, design, construction and maintenance of County projects and programs in the area of capital improvements. 

Education and Experience: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and for Associate Engineer: four (4) years of increasingly responsible professional engineering experience.  For Senior Engineer: three (3) years experience in lead or project management in public works design and construction engineeringat, a level equivalent to an Associate Engineer.

Associate Engineer Salary:  $66,310.40 - $80,558.40 /yr.

Senior Engineer Salary: $79,996.80 - $97,260.80 /yr.
