We are seeking a dynamic Case Manager III to supervise and provide crisis evaluation and case management on site and in the field at the new Sheriff’s Department Correctional Facility.

The ideal candidate will be energetic, flexible, and have a considerable knowledge of and commitment to the recovery/wellness/resilience oriented approaches to treatment, work well independently, and demonstrate skills in time management, organization, problem solving, and conflict resolution.

This position requires a Sheriff’s Department background check that will include: a personal history statement, criminal check, and driving record check. The applicant who successfully completes the background investigation will then be scheduled for a fit for duty medical examination. Successful completion of all phases of the County’s testing process is required.

Education and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, social work, chemical dependency or a related field and five years of full-time experience providing case management services in a supervised behavioral health setting. Master’s or Doctoral degree in psychology, counseling, social work, chemical dependency, or a related field may be substituted for two years of experience.

Salary: $28.22 - $34.33 /hr.

Clinician I/II needed to provide services to high-risk offenders in the Day Reporting Center, Probation Department, and/or County Jail and will work as a memeber of a multidisciplinary team that includes Mental Health, Probation, Substance Abuse, a Sheriff's Deputy, Literacy, and other local agencies.
